I stream on an MSI GT70 gaming laptop, and I've had black screens before, but ever since I changed the NVidia settings to run OBS on the High performance graphics card, I've not had any issues until today. The rest of the game capture is just a black screen. I then realized that Enemy Unknown was the original game, and I actually meant to stream Enemy Within, and when I created a new source using game capture on Enemy Within, OBS captures ONLY the mouse cursor and no other game video. I used game capture like I normally do, and it worked like a charm. I first set up Xcom Enemy Unknown to stream on Twitch with OBS, and it worked fine. I was about to start streaming Xcom Enemy Within today and had a strange problem that kept me from being able to do it.
